Bakhoor Noir began in a small atelier off Al Quoz, where a perfumer who had spent twenty years sourcing raw oud across Southeast Asia decided he was tired of compromise. The brief was simple: make no decisions based on cost. Source the oldest trees. Age the oil longer. Use less carrier and more soul. Every fragrance in our collection is built on that refusal to settle. We make small batches on purpose. We take months to approve a single formula. And we believe the best perfume is not the loudest one in the room.
Every oud we use is traceable to a specific forest, harvest season and tree age. No blends, no ambiguity.
Our oils rest for a minimum of three years before any formula is approved. Time is the ingredient no one can fake.
Blended, bottled and signed in our Al Quoz atelier by a team of two perfumers who believe small is better.
Oud Al Fajer is a deliberate contrast to the night. Indian oud, gentler and more rosy than its Cambodian cousin, opens the composition with an almost luminous warmth. Rose absolute and saffron thread through the heart, and white musk carries the dry-down into something utterly serene. A scent for the prayer mat, the quiet morning, the moment before the city wakes. Concentration: Eau de Parfum Intense, 30%.

Layl Al Oud opens with a breath of smoked resin before the heart of aged Cambodian oud emerges, slow and sure. Black amber anchors the base, while vetiver adds an earthy, almost mineral tension. This is a scent that commands silence. Wear it when you want to say everything without speaking. Concentration: Extrait de Parfum, 40%.
